I’ve recently been doing astrophotography for the past three months/since 2026 started. I think this is the best picture I have so far without the ‘smudged’ looking stars at the edges (February 15, 2026). I’m only able to use my phone though and I don’t have a proper tripod or camera yet so this is as far as I can do. To the people who also do astrophotog more ‘professionally’, what camera do you use? I’m planning to get one soon and I’d like to know what are my best options before I buy one!

I only do it as a hobbyist, but even getting a cheap DSLR and lens will gove you improvements compared to smart phones. I do want to eventually get a star tracker too.
