The man who told the Pentagon where Lockheed kept crash retrieval material died without a trace in the public record.

James T. Ryder ran Lockheed Martin's most advanced lab for six years. $9B in classified R&D. He proposed moving physical material from a Lockheed facility to the DIA through official channels. The CIA blocked it. He retired. He built a private science infrastructure connected to Eric Davis and Hal Puthoff. He died on Memorial Day 2018.

No obituary exists. No death certificate. No corporate statement. Nothing. The erasure is more complete than anything else in the ATTRITION series.

His position was structurally interlocked with the AFRL command that Major General Neil McCasland led three months after Ryder walked out. McCasland vanished in February 2026.
