Interested in all things paranormal, from things that go bump in the night to watching the skies, I thought I'd add this book, Imminent: Inside the Pentagon's Hunt for UFOs by Luis Elizondo published in hardback to my personal library.
But in my copy some paragraphs are censored and blanked out, ironically this makes the text on the back of the dust jacket seem a little redundant.
'WHILE THERE ARE VALID REASONS FOR SECRECY AROUND SOME ASPECTS OF UAP, I DO NOT THINK HUMANITY SHOULD BE KEPT IN THE DARK ABOUT THE FUNDAMENTAL FACT THAT WE ARE NOT THE ONLY INTELLIGENT LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE.
THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND OTHER MAJOR GOVERNMENTS HAVE DECIDED ITS CITIZENS DO NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW, BUT I COULD NOT DISAGREE MORE."
Is it my location, I'm in the UK, or is this common practice that this book is censored like this?
To quote a popular tv show of the '90s " The Truth Is Out There " but seems like some of it, in contrast to the aforementioned text on the jacket, the powers at be think, we the public, can't handle the truth it's a pity as I indeed do " Want To Believe "

Only a rich old man for the hunt for more power would and can say something like that.. I’m ready to live along side with them, with beings we once called gods
