I remember reading somewhere about the fighting in The Pacific during World War II Iwo Jima I think. The fighting was extremely brutal and many thousands Japanese and Americans died violently.
For example close combat in foxholes resulted in eyes being gouged out people being killed by katanas and bayonet etc.
The post had said something along the lines of "when that much human death and suffering occurs in such large amounts strange things start to happen." Anyone else heard of anything like this? What kind of things.

Heard the same thing but cant remember where also , i remember accounts of mist seemingly coming out of nowhere over the battlefield after the battle.probably from the book secret teachings of all ages by manly p. Hall but it has been years can be wrong
