The latest science fiction movie in cinemas is Project Hail Mary. It stars Ryan Gosling as a teacher called Ryland Grace, who is sent on a mission to save our sun, which is being attacked by nasty germs called astrophages.
The film is a box-office and critical hit. As a scientist, I always look at the numbers, and on the website Rotten Tomatoes, 95pc of 340 critics are positive about it.
