I'm assuming these was taken around the time cameras got color because of how terrible they look.

  1. There is absolutely no way the UFO is gonna look like that. That’s almost too obvious.

  2. The image is almost universally considered a hoax created using a forced-perspective trick.
The “Small Model” Effect: When optical physicists analyze the depth of field, the focus, and the lighting on the metallic surface, it does not match an object that is 30 feet wide and far away. It mathematically matches an object that is about 20 inches wide, hovering only a few feet in front of the camera lens.
The Convenient Trees: You will notice that the UFO is perfectly framed by the overhanging branches of the tree. Analysts strongly suspect the “saucer” was a custom-built model (likely made from aluminum hubcaps or lamp parts) that was simply suspended from those branches using thin fishing line, or tossed into the air right in front of the lens.

These were discredited during Project Blue Book. They’re models suspended between tree branches with fishing line. Notice how all of them are conveniently pictured with branches and trees on either side?

I love how the aliens keep adapting their spacecraft to the human aesthetics of the current decade. I miss the ones with fins.
