One of the most intense debates in ancient history today is the origin of the Ancient Egyptians. While many theories float around, the most reliable evidence remains the contemporary art created during their lifetime.

Meritaten, the eldest daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti, serves as a perfect biological and historical record. Her famous limestone and quartzite statues found in Amarna show:

Distinctive Features: High cheekbones, a slender nose, and a specific cranial structure that aligns perfectly with the North African/Egyptian indigenous population.

Refined Realism: Amarna period art was known for its "brutal honesty" and realism, capturing the true likeness of the royals without the usual idealization.

The Counter-Argument: These statues provide a direct visual rebuttal to Afrocentric claims that attempt to reclassify the physical identity of the 18th Dynasty.

In my latest video, I analyze the anthropological and artistic details of Meritaten’s statues and how they serve as a guardian of Egyptian true identity.

  1. Akhenaten was from the New Kingdom period. There is an enormous amount of evidence that the ancient Egyptian pharaohs and their families were not black African. The Afrocentric narratives mainly focus on the Old Kingdom and prior to that.

  2. The fact you’re even using the term “black” to describe an entire continent of people of the most genetically diverse people on earth means you aren’t ready for this convo. “black African” are the only group of people that showcase EVERY feature of mankind, and they are the ONLY ones who do. The fact you think a shade of brown makes them not negro is astounding lolm the term “black” is a racist made up term that has no bearing on reality. Subsaharan Africans come in all shades of brown, including that of the Egyptians lol.

I think the even bigger issue is folks really don’t know jack shit about Africa. All they know and believe is that Egyptians weren’t “black”.

These are “Subsaharan Black Africans” to prove my point . the term and concept makes no sense whatsoever it’s a racist made up term with no basis in reality
