The varsity Greenville Comets baseball team was dealt its first loss of the season Tuesday at Teutopolis.
The Wooden Shoes shut out the Comets 8-0.
For GHS, Drake Curry had a double and Dominic Sanchez singled.
The junior varsity Comets were defeated at home by Teutopolis 11-3.
The varsity Comets continue thir games Thursday at Vandalia, and play once Saturday at home against Pinckneyville. The junior varsity Comets will play Pinckneyville following Saturday’s varsity contest.
