The Greenville Comets varsity baseball team cruised to victory Monday at home to improve their record to 3-0.

GHS defeated Metro East Lutheran 18-0 as Drake Curry tossed four innings and struck out seven.

The Comets were obviously very productive on offense.  Rowdy Sussenbach had two hits and four runs batted in, Trey Melton and Curry both doubled and posted two RBIs, Drake Graber recorded two hits and an RBI, and Christian Swalley had two RBIs.

The Comets play at Vandalia Thursday, have a home doubleheader against Pinckneyville on Saturday, and play at Busch Stadium in St. Louis Sunday.
