Scientists have discovered dozens of planets that could potentially support life, according to a study by the Carl Sagan Institute published in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. The study found 45 rocky planets in the habitable zone and another 24 in the narrower habitable zone, where conditions could be suitable for life.
