I was pleased to see the recent “Around the State” article titled “Wisconsin sees jump in UFO reports in 2025” published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel print edition Feb. 15. Kudos for posting this important topic.
A recent Tracking and Detection Summit held Feb. 7-8, hosted by the Human Institute, offered multiple sessions on tracking and detection of UFO/UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) by experts and specialists in the field. As information continues to be withheld from the public, tracking equipment and data collection opportunities are increasingly available to the public to assist in data collection for scientific review.
Some equipment is simple enough to make at minimal expense, or easily purchased, and able to distinguish birds, planes and satellites from anomalous flying objects. Educational institutions, groups and individuals are encouraged to become involved as citizen scientists.
For those interested in exploring the topic further, the Tracking and Detection Summit recording is available. For those interested in Citizen Science or other opportunities (best introduced through the Summit sessions), there are many available through this organization.
Last but not least, the original source of the UFO article, The National UFO Reporting Center, posts anonymous public sighting submissions with searches by state and date, along with a photo and video section.
