This question will always make me laugh:

“If extraterrestrials exist, where are they?”

No, seriously, think about it for a second.

Imagine there really is a civilization intelligent enough to travel billions of kilometers just to find us. What do you think they would do first?

Observe us. Of course.

And then what? They would watch who we are, what we do, how we behave, all the stupid things we do, the wars, the conflicts, the way we treat each other and our own planet.

Honestly, put yourself in their place for a moment.

Would you really want to make contact with a species that behaves the way we do?

Well, you just answered your own question. Maybe the answer to the Fermi paradox is very simple.

They are not missing.

They are just watching and waiting 🤷🏾‍♂️

  2. If I was Captain Picard on the Enterprise and I encountered a planet as messed up as Earth I’d put us on a “Avoid contact, check back in 100 years to see if they’ve chilled out” list
