This book about fairies by Robert Kirk was mentioned in Vallée's Passport to Magonia. The way its described it almost sounds like modern UFO research text but with faeries instead of aliens… or science report but with faeries instead of animals. Has anyone read this?

Yes, it’s well worth it, even if it’s maybe a bit of an awkward read due to the age. A lot of cases have similarities to modern day abductions or invisible entities.

I read it right after Passport to Magonia. Yes, it is definitely a worthwhile read. It is written in early modern English, but this isn’t much of a challenge and you get used to it. It was very interesting indeed.
Im a painter and this reminds me of an elven book I saw once in a client’s house. Could be for all i know, only thing I remember is being grossed out by the illustrations (not pictures) regardless if they were meant to be fairies or not it just looked like illustrater sketched/drew naked children with big elf ears. ewe. It grossed and freaked me out so I just put it down and went back to work. To be clear, these were illustrations/drawings* in an old printed book or id have reported the old people.
