No video/pics of it because I honestly wasn’t expecting anything to happen, and didn’t have a camera with me.
There’s a podcast I listen to sometimes called “Other World”. (In the link I provided, skip to 00:16:00 to get to the part where he’s actually requesting the experience)
A recent episode they did was about a guy who had the experience of getting to meet and talk with grey aliens. What’s interesting about his story, besides the meeting itself, was how it came about: he literally just asked a starry night sky if there was anything out there and if so to please show itself. A couple weeks later, he was woken up in the middle of the night, felt the urge to walk to his front door, and when he opened it two greys were standing there. They then led him outside, he saw their craft parked on the street, and they said to him he could ask them questions.
I was inspired by this, as I’ve always wanted to have an encounter with real honest-to-God aliens. I tend to wake up early in the morning, around 4-5 AM, and part of my morning routine involves going out onto our back patio and emptying out, then refilling, the birdbath we have out there. After listening to the episode, I was inspired to try it myself. I got in the habit of saying quietly, out loud, something like “If there’s any intelligent life out there that is benevolent and has good intentions, please make contact with me”. I’d say it three times, once to the northern sky, once to the eastern sky and once to the southern sky (I don’t have a view of the west because it’s behind my house).
After a few days of doing this, I had an interesting experience. On March 5th, I went out there as usual to refill the birdbath, gazing up at the stars as I always do. I noticed at one point that in the northern part of the sky there were two stars that were way too close together. I mean literally like “..” whereas Orion’s Belt, the closest configuration of stars I can think of, the distance is more like “.____________.” (disregard the line, reddit isn’t letting me use spaces to show distance) This stood out to me. I made my standard request, when a few seconds later while I was looking east a sort of bright orange streak of light in the sky. It flashed in intensity, moving very quickly, and resembled like a firework shooting down towards the ground, though it disappeared and didn’t explode like a firework would.
After this happened, I looked back to where the two stars were unusually close together, and saw only a single star there. I’m wondering if one of the “stars” was actually a UAP sort of “parked” there, watching and listening for me to ask for a sign, then it shot off and was the “flare”?
An interesting thing which may or may not be related to this experience is that later on in the day that this happened, I found multiple large insects in my house: 1 stinkbug and a couple weirdly large, flying things I wasn’t able to identify. Only on this date were so many bugs found in my house, it hasn’t happened before or since.
If this was a meteor or a shooting star, the timing was insane: it happened right after I asked for contact with Aliens, exactly in a section of sky that was right in front of me. I have never before or since seen a shooting star or comet, and the odds of it happening right then and there in that specific context are astronomical.
I was really stunned that ANYTHING happened at all, and that simply standing there under the stars, asking for contact, seemed to actually work. They were showing me that they’re out there, and they’re listening. It wasn’t exactly what I was asking for (I’d really like a face to face encounter with ETs), but still, it blew me away.
Except for this one sign that happened a couple weeks ago, nothing else has occurred, but I’m going to keep gazing at the sky every morning, making my requests and God Willing I’ll eventually get to have an encounter.

Happens to me all the time when I go out and talk to them in my head staring into the cosmos. Usually right as the thought goes through my head it happens, sometimes before I finish it. They appear as a bright white streak to me, very much like a shooting star but too slow and too big. Too big and fast to be satellites, the frequency/timing is what’s interesting, almost always while the thought is still in my head. Its very bizarre as they would have to know my thoughts ahead of time to be in that position in the sky no matter how fast they move.
I really don’t think we have even a fundamental understanding of this phenomenon.

I had a similar experience when I first started stargazing and practicing meditation with it. Im staring at a section of night sky probably around 9-10pm, projecting my thoughts outward asking for something to show itself and then bam a very bright amber orange ball of light about half the size of the moon appears. It looked like a small amber orange sun, and it was kinda retracting/pulsing in and out like a dimmer switch being adjusted. It had a very clear circular silhouette within the light like how you can squint at the sun and make out the shape. It didn’t hurt to look at but I did have to squint a bit just because it was so bright.
at first its kinda floating around in one spot but after laying my eyes on it for a good couple seconds it rapidly moves across the horizon that I have to physically turn my whole body. It was so fast and big enough to not be any commercial aircraft but not so fast to be some kind shooting star/meteor; it had that kinda floaty almost mouse cursor like movement. I tried to keep following it but then it does this insane course correction curve upward and out of my view into the clouds. Never saw anything like it before or since but I’ve narrowed it down to either being a genuine UAP/UFO experience or some natural phenomena like ball lightning albeit that’s also an extremely rare and mysterious phenomena.
I’ll never really forget the feeling I had either, shock and awe obviously, but also just a tinge of fear if that makes sense. I’d compare it to walking on a forest trail and then a bear just walks across the path, you make eye contact and for the next few seconds you’re in this weird mixed emotion state of amazement curiosity and fear until the bear ultimately gets bored and moves on and you’re just left with the story to tell.
I think the bigger thing for me was definitely the timing of it all like why did this thing appear to me when I asked with great need? The specific phrasing I chose was literally “just show me something, I know you’re there, just show me something so I can move on with my life” This was like my 4th night practicing this meditation/thought projection so it kinda felt like I was being told “we hear you, so here you go! Now please shut the fuck up because this is the best you’re gonna get see ya!”
It did help me contextualize the phenomenon as maybe being more spiritual oriented than I first thought and given all the other stories it does make me wonder about what it all actually means. Now here I am after “moving on with my life” but still forever curious about the secrets of the universe albeit much less manic and frantic about it lol
