Would it have been strong enough to push the moon into the earth? I do watch too many movies.

From the papers I’ve read, lots of the life on earth at the time was likely already dead or dying due to volcanic activity, the asteroid was just the nail in the coffin. It’s impossible to predict the outcome of this butterfly effect, but perhaps life would’ve evolved slightly differently – we may have a few species today that share more similar traits to those that weren’t wiped by the meteor specifically. And the moon would have an additional crater.

Who the f*ck knows
Massive crater on moon.
Dinosaurs get to live.
Humans do not get to exist.
Just my guess.
