I’ve been researching Middle Eastern occult history, and the story of the 'Ammar' tribe is by far the most unsettling. Unlike the violent 'Zuzula' or 'Cuhenna' tribes that people fear, the Ammar are known as 'The Settlers.' They don't live in ruins; they live in active human households.

According to ancient lore, they are the silent witnesses of your daily life. They share your meals when you don't offer a blessing, and they occupy the empty corners of your rooms. Most 'shadow people' sightings in modern homes are actually attributed to this tribe in Eastern traditions.

They aren't always malicious, but they are incredibly possessive. They can become agitated by sudden changes in the house or even by pouring boiling water down a drain without a 'warning.' Has anyone here experienced unexplained sounds or the heavy feeling of being watched when the house is empty? You might just have an unseen roommate.

  1. The whole leftovers thing was created by some fat guy in a tribe who just wanted to pass blame onto the spirits

Well, when you pour boiling water down a cold pipe, it sometimes rattles. Always thought that was just an effect of the temperature change, but now I know it’s spooks.

Real interesting that the first (4) comments are completely trolling/ragebaiting. There must be some truth in this post.

I woke up once to see a small very old looking creature sitting next to the bed watching me.

Most Angels, Entities, watchers, Archons / demons are all references to planets

  6. Sorta like the domovoy in slavic regions. I like the idea of a kindred house spirit that isn’t really malicious though he might fuck with you from time to time. Also, don’t shake hands over a doorway
