Internet sleuths suspect Donald Trump may be about to reveal the truth about UFOs as the US government appears to have registered the website name ‘aliens.gov‘.

In February, the president said he would instruct his government to release files on UFOs and aliens.

At the time, he wrote on his Truth Social platform: “Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Meanwhile, government investigations into unexplained aerial encounters have been continuing through the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

Previous official government UFO reports have confirmed dozens of unexplained sightings via the AARO website, which was set up to investigate reports of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) – as UFOs are officially known.

One report revealed investigators were tasked with assessing eyewitness accounts of sightings including a green fireball, a flashing, multicoloured jelly-fish, and a 6ft silver rocket.

Many cases were attributed to known objects including balloons, birds, unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), satellites, and aircraft.

AARO also reported that they increasingly receive cases that they are able to resolve as Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite constellation.

However, AARO states that other cases remain unresolved and that they are continuing to collect and analyse that body of cases.

Unresolved sightings include the so-called ‘GOFAST’ video of a U.S. Navy F/A-18 jet crew’s encounter with a UAP, and a fast-moving silver ball captured on camera by a U.S. drone in the Middle East.

In November, 2024, AARO director Jon Kosloski said: “It is important to underscore that, to date, AARO has discovered no evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology.”
