For those who followed the May-Johnson / Majestic-12 research from about a year and a half ago, I'm back with fresh findings, including one finding I had to assiduously embargo for over 20 months!

Quick refresher: The original thesis proposed that "MJ" in MJ-12 may encode a reference to the May-Johnson bill — the controversial 1945 atomic energy legislation drafted by War Department insiders including Vannevar Bush, James Conant, and Gen. Leslie Groves.

What's new:

• The Royall-Majestic link strengthens — Kenneth Royall led the drafting on May-Johnson. If "Majestic" does indeed code for "Royall," then it turns out there's a lot more justification for it than his legal work.

• Oppenheimer's choice of Administrator — The May-Johnson bill called for an Administrator role. Oppie floated a rather famous individual's name for it, a name that will come as no surprise to Majestic docs aficionados.

• Vannevar's committee philosophy — Autobiographical quotes reveal Vannevar's inner thoughts over board governance, headcounts, and structure.

These are just the amuse-bouches—there's more in the pipeline, so follow along or fall behind!

PS I’ve always viewed these pieces not as a one-way dissemination, but as findings for this community to evaluate, push back on, and build upon. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

PPS While I assiduously avoid AI content in my articles, I happily use it for promo content as a starting point like in this subreddit post. Rest assured I've edited & evaluated it carefully.

PPPS Bonus points for folks who can recognize the face at the top left of the article's marquis image =)
