Pluto’s entire surface area is about 16.6 million square kilometers.
But this includes everything, not only land. It is a full sphere.
Direct comparison
Russia land area ≈ 16.3 million km²
Pluto total surface area ≈ 16.6 million km²
This means Russia alone covers almost the same space as the entire surface of Pluto. If you compared only Pluto’s “land-like” solid surface, Russia would clearly be larger.

I didn’t know Pluto had anything other than “land-like” solid surfaces 🤣. Frozen nitrogen ice is still a solid…. It’s theorized that it could have a subsurface frozen mantle of water ice but that’s still a solid. The surface is covered in 98% nitrogen ice with traces of frozen methane and carbon monoxide, all solid though. The average surface temperature of Pluto is -387 degrees Fahrenheit or -232 degrees Celsius, about 44 degrees Kelvin. The whole planet is solid, frozen solid. Just finished watching an Astrum video on Pluto 🤣.
