Greenville Lady Comets Head Basketball Coach Logan Murphy recently presented awards to his players for the 2025-26 season.
Senior Haylee Clark was the varsity’s Most Valuable Player and received the Offensive Player of the Year honor for averaging 9.1 points per game. Clark also earned the Rebounding Award with a total of 175.
Senior Ella Kleiner was named Practice Player of the Year for leading by example. She was just behind Clark in rebounds with 173.
Other varsity honors went to Tinley Walker with the Free Throw and Three-Point Shooting Awards, Peyton White as Defensive Player of the Year, and Kaitlyn Lurkins as Most Improved Player and recipient of the Standard Award for her commitment to establishing the team’s culture and setting the standard.
Brooklyn Cross was presented the Hustle Award.
At the junior varsity level. Lurkins was the Most Valuable Player, Miley Matthews the Most improved Player, Adyson Lee the Defensive Player of the Year, Trinley Cale the Offensive Player of the Year and Grace Goodson received the Rebounding Award.
