Captured ~4 hours of the night sky on a phone and turned it into a star trail animation.
Technical details:
• 16s exposures, ISO ~800
• ~17s interval between frames
• ~900 images total
• Shot on tripod, manual focus at infinity
Processing:
• Timelapse assembled in VideoProc Vlogger (30 fps)
• Star trails created using stacking (lighten mode / cumulative blending)
• Exported in 4:3 to match original frames
Clouds rolled in during the shoot, but I ended up liking the effect they added.
