Hope for change. A means to ignore our own powerlessness.

Agree with desire for meaning.
Couple that up with thinking a human brain has the ability to accurately interpret certain very ‘real’ glimpses of *something* after experiencing ecstatic states through medicines, sadhana, grace, whatever.
It can be rather tempting to believe we can actually interpret these experiences and often leads to some sort of rigid spiritual identity that parallels a worldly identity.
This is a long conversation condensed into one point of nuance, but it covers a little bit on how I understand things to be.
I also have moments where I’m like ‘damn, maybe this is MY human mind unwilling to accept something’.
Who knows, I stopped trying to know.

Not accepting that you’re just a wave in the ocean.

Just more ego-driven narratives to give the ego something to do. Unfortunate distractions from any real understanding/healing.

I’d rather hear them say that than “influencer” or “content creator”
