Atlantis becomes an geographic and chronologic lynchpin from which everything else slots in place.
We can group together all the serpentine / aquatic beings, many being associated with the origin of civilization and farming, into the following list:

The sequence could be:
- Anu/Ouranos/Absu – Ouranos is called Autochthan by historian Sanchuniathon, Autochthan meaning indigenous, these are the indigenous hunter-gatherer peoples.
- Chronos/Phanes/Nun/Nammu represent the earliest deities of the time; linking to the earliest farming peoples and the construction of Tas Tepeler sites during which the cult, pact or deification of snakes emerges.
- This 9600 BC time also corresponds to the war Plato describes as being between all those who dwell within and those who dwell beyond the Pillars of Hercules, so this would be the indigenous Hunter Gatherers in the Med fighting the incoming Mesopotamian Farmers until each establishes a boundary.
- The three heads of Chronos represent Anatolia, the Levant and Mesopotamia.
- These Nommo people expand with Oceanos becoming an early king around North Africa, he is said to have founded 3000 river gods, representing the continuation of this serpentine cult into new locations.
- Enki/Atlas/Shu, a later king of the Nommo, founds Atlantis in 7000 BC.
- Atlanteans create a scaled serpentine/fish-like chainmail outfit.
- Atlanteans expand across much of Europe as the Titans
- Atlanteans send out emissaries across the world remembered as these serpentine beings.
- In Europe Pontus, Nereus, Glaucus, Ophion and Triton continue this serpentine/fish cult.
- Around ~6200BC, an ice barrier holding back Lake Agassiz in North America melts, draining a massive lake into the ocean affecting the AMOC, the draining also potentially releasing a large amount of methane, together causing a global rain event and then 150 years of global cooling.
- The Atlanteans predicted the collapse of this ice barrier and climatic impacts, warning people globally remembered in the accounts of:
- The Vara of Yima – god instructs people to build an underground refuge to survive a long winter
- The Ant People – Mesoamericans are kept underground and fed by the Anti People during a catastrophe
- Cronus/Marduk/Enlil/Geb surrounds last Ouranos outpost in Greece and cuts them off (they leave distressed gargoyles at Lepenski Vir ) imposing new rule.
