I captured this footage on March 14, 2026, during a heavy storm in Hazard, Kentucky. I was filming the intense weather from my balcony when I noticed a strange, dark object in the sky that didn't move like a drone or a plane, especially given the high winds and conditions.

​Location: Hazard, Kentucky (Eastern KY)
​Date/Time: March 14, 2026
​Conditions: Heavy rain, storming, high-altitude clouds.
​Observation: At around [00:11], you can see a distinct dark, vertical shape hanging above the treeline/mountain ridge. It remains relatively stationary despite the storm.
​Anomaly: Later in the clip at [00:46], a lightning flash illuminates a very strange, dark triangular or "winged" silhouette high in the clouds. It’s only visible for a split second during the discharge.
​I've seen some people refer to these as "Black Knight" sightings or simply atmospheric UAPs that seem to appear during electrical storms. Has anyone else in the Appalachian region seen anything similar recently?
