I’m enjoying this galaxy season thanks to the new APO scope. Now its not easy from Bortle 8/9 but these galaxies are fairly bright so it came out well, I think!
Acquisition equipment and details:
– Skywatcher 150i Wave mount
– Askar 120APO @ 840mm f7
– Touptek ATR2600M at -10°C
– Touptek 36mm LRGB filters
– 87×150s L, 32×150s R, 31×150s G and 30×150s B (7h30 in total)
– Bortle 8 skies (~17.8 SQM)
It’s funny I knew this must have been taken on an Askar 120APO once you said 840mm in the title haha. Great shot! I should get the 1.0x corrector for mine as well! But the climate is so cloudy where i live that I should move to a more arid location before spending more money on the hobby haha
