IMPORTANT: I don't have a laser pointer at home right now to replicate it, so I won't say this is 100% fake, but it could definitely be done this way. Also, to be fair, replicating it wouldn't make it 100% fake either.
But here is how you do it, simply, in an hour (storm recording included).
It's actually a pretty simple practical effect:
- Buy a cheap laser pointer (a $5 one will do).
- Many cheap green lasers have a twistable cap on the front that lets you widen the beam.
- Set up a camera in a pitch-black room. Use a tripod or, even better, a d.rone (so the video quality and noise is similar).
- Wave the laser around in front of the camera for a few minutes. (Notice how the beam in the video never shines directly at the camera? That's because lasers can cause dead pixels and permanently fry a camera sensor. The creator knew this and deliberately waved it around the lens).
- If the laser beam isn't showing up well on camera, use a little smoke or fog to catch the light.
- Go outside and record a storm with your d.rone.
- Overlay the two clips. Because the laser was recorded in complete darkness, only the laser beam will show up when you overlay it onto the storm footage.
- if needed, track the movements in post.
- Provide "raw files" via YouTube. A YouTube link is not a raw file. True raw files come directly from the camera/d.rone's SD card. When you upload a video to YouTube, it compresses the file and strips all the original metadata, meaning absolutely nothing can be verified.
All of this could be done in an hour.
To the OP: If possible, please upload the raw files to a file-sharing site (like Google Drive or Dropbox) where we can download them. We need to make sure the files are directly from the d.rone/SD card; otherwise, it's useless for analysis and not actually "raw."
When you watch the footage, the UFO moves exactly like someone holding a laser pointer in their hand.

Even more simple:
1) Set up drone on the camera recording a storm outside your window at night.
2) Turn room lights off.
3) Hide behind drone and shine the laser at the reflection of the drone’s camera.
The drone would record exactly what is shown in the video. Additionally, this protects the camera’s sensor from direct laser light.
Sweaty fucking nerds
not convinced thats how it was done if indeed the video is not genuine.
