My UFO Sighting (Ai Art is approximation)

Time: March 17th 2011 approximately 4:30pm

Location: Hudson Valley, New York

In March of 2011, I was traveling down some back roads through the Hudson Valley in New York. It was the late afternoon about two hours before sunset, still bright outside. I was alone in my car and on the road on my way to pick up a friend. As I turned a small corner, something in my upper peripheral vision caught my attention. I looked up and saw a metallic V-shaped craft with three white lights underneath just slowly and silently moving above the tree line perpendicular to the road. I slowed the car down to a complete stop and looked up through the windshield with a cranked neck and dropped jaw. The craft was a classic metallic color and couldn’t have been moving more than 10-15 miles per hour. It was approximately 70 – 90 feet in total size and drifting maybe just 20 feet above the trees. It had no obvious means of propulsion, no engines, propeller, no flames. A sudden shock of fear came over me, and I redlined the tachometer and sped off down the road. As I got another 100 meters down the road or so, the road had a slight elevation and I looked to my left to see if I could still see the craft. Sure enough in the distance, I could see the shimmer of the bright white lights above the tree line further in the distance.

Years later, I did some research and found that not only is the Hudson Valley a hot spot for UFOs, (Especially in the early 1980’s) but many of the reports of the crafts sighted are almost the exact same shape. I also found out that my sighting was about an hour away from the famous cabin where Whitley Strieber was supposedly abducted, but I honesty struggle to believe anything he says. It’s been 15 years and I never had another sighting again or any other close contact. Before anyone asks… NO! I didn’t have any lost time during the sighting. I made it to my friend’s house on time with no delays. After reading many reports and doing some research about the local area, I personally believe the craft to be NHI and that it was used to scout/scan for needed natural resources from the ground. I went back to area where the sighting occurred, and it’s noticeably more rocky with large boulders and rock formations sticking out of the ground compared to any other area in the town. The Hudson Valley, especially in my general areas has quite a few quarry, indicating the ground containing valuable materials.
