“Release of UFO files” has always been a red herring. I don’t see anyone in this government talking about passing the [**UAP DISCLOSURE ACT**](https://www.congress.gov/amendment/118th-congress/senate-amendment/2610/text), with the **EMINENT DOMAIN** clause in tact, which will force private contractors and companies allegedly housing non-human made technology to reveal what they have whether they want to or not.

Until this legislation is passed the rest is key jangling distractions.

yep! just as anyone might have expected… it’s just like them throwing a piece of cake to the UFO enthusiasts / community to calm down, like here’s your piece, at least we got this out, now shut up and carry on with your lives… something like that

  3. We veterans of the UFO community would be surprised, if it went any differently. Nevertheless, we won’t give up, and will continue to fight for disclosure.

I wish the media would taunt Trump about this. “Hey Mr. President do you not have the authority to release these files? Aren’t you in charge? I guess the deep state got to Trump too. He is too weak to release the files.” One conversation like this on Fox and Friends, and we’d have disclosure.

  5. He has such a short attention span (as most politicians do) as soon as he hit the red button to bomb Iran the whole UFO release thing was gone.

I’d rather they release the files showing he raped and trafficked children.

Since politics are involved, why not the push for UAPDA again? Nothing to hide right?

  9. Pedophilia, dictatorship and war. “BUZZ LOOK AN ALIEN!” We are done for if this is the focus.

  10. Guess what’s not boring but you should not know about it!

Prolly, the Iran war he started , or perhaps that ground troops from the 82nd airborn division might be deployed or is it the illegal sinking of Iranian boat ….maybe the E-files ?

When I see you all reacting to the president announcing that there will be disclosure by whining that it’s not going to happen or that it will be a distraction or that it won’t be good enough instead of encouraging and pressuring the administration to follow through, it makes me feel like many of you don’t deserve disclosure.

  12. “Likely”? lol They’ve set the template of how they release controversial files, and it shouldn’t have inspired anyone with confidence.

I’m a former LE investigator and I’m very willing to weaponise my autism to go through them all anyway.

  14. Lmao @ everyone that was even slightly hyped for this- you got got, why ever put faith into this man’s words? This was obvious from the start that it was going to be absolutely nothing.

How bout you just bring it on, transparently, and we’ll decide what’s boring. Boring paperwork tacitly describing it all in great detail would be just great, actually.

The “boring” claim comes from Greg Eghigian, whose [interviews on the subject](https://www.livescience.com/space/extraterrestrial-life/its-hard-not-to-believe-he-saw-something-historian-greg-eghigian-on-how-ufos-took-over-the-world) manage to be even more boring and specifics-free than that of debunkers. He’s an historian who doesn’t even try to look into military archives much and views the UFOs as “cultural phenomena”.

    I’ll stick with Mellon’s assessment.

If you believed for a second that this would happen any other way, you need to evaluate the people you trust on your life
