Utica Comets Host Firefighter and First Responders Night

UTICA, N.Y. — The Utica Comets are bringing the community together for Firefighter and First Responders Night at the Adirondack Bank Center.

The event tonight celebrates the dedication and hard work of local firefighters and first responders who protect the area.

Local firefighter chiefs will take part in the festivities and an honorary puck drop is planned.

Players will wear specialty jerseys for the occasion, with some jerseys raffled off to fans.

Comets players have shared positive feedback about the special jerseys.

The Comets are set to play the Belleville Senators with the puck drop at 7 p.m.

On April 10, the Comets will host a local police officer game against the Marlies.
