While we knew the second season of the FX series Alien: Earth was setting up shop over at Pinewood Studios in the UK, we now have a timeframe for when the series will move out of its current pre-production phase and cameras will start rolling. 

Exclusively reported by Deadline at an awards event, series star Sydney Chandler has confirmed the month of May as when the next season enters full production. We don’t have a quote at the moment but Chandler informed Deadline that she has yet to read the scripts.

Chandler accepted an award for Rising Star at the 2026 Texas Film Awards for her role as Wendy in Alien: Earth. You can see a video of series showrunner Noah Hawley introducing her below:
