LA PLATA, Maryland — U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Brendan Carr continued the agency’s critiques of the proposed EU Space Act but also acknowledged that the EU appears to be addressing some of the issues as it rewrites the act.
In statements at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Carr referenced the draft EU Space Act, which was rejected by EU governments in December as overly complicated and containing too many costly requirements on satellite owner/operators.
