I’ve been after this target for a while now but the lack of clear nights prohibited that. Finally I got a few hours on it this week. It’s tricky as it’s so low over the horizon here in Toronto. The first batch of data was a mere 2hrs. Overstretched and blotchy. The second night brought lore detail. More careful stretching and I’m so happy with it. Still a lot I can improve on but for 4hrs I am very content. I added a single sub and the first processed image for comparison. Taken in bortle 9 skies of Toronto, Canada.
51x300s light frames =4hrs 15mins Master calibration frames added Gain 100 Cooled to -10deg c
