Hillary Clinton met with the Republican-led House Oversight Committee yesterday to testify about convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, whom she said she didn’t remember meeting. Bill Clinton is set to testify today.

Testimony: In a closed-door deposition, the former secretary of state said she had “no idea” about Epstein’s criminal activities and never visited his island or home. She decried the meeting as a “fishing expedition.” Neither of the Clintons has been accused of wrongdoing. [Yahoo News] 

UFOs and Pizzagate: The session was briefly derailed after GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert leaked a photo from the room, and Clinton said questioning took a turn toward Pizzagate, “one of the most vile, bogus conspiracy theories,” and UFOs. Here’s what else went down. [The Guardian]

More from the files: The DOJ restored a photo showing Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Epstein’s Caribbean island after it had been removed. Lutnick, who faces criticism over his ties to Epstein, said he visited in 2012 on a family vacation. [CBS News]

Cuba speedboat incident

Cuba released the identities of those involved in the deadly maritime shootout, saying they attempted to “carry out an infiltration for terrorist purposes.” At least two were U.S. citizens.  Secretary of State Marco Rubio said an investigation is ongoing. [CBS News]

Texas airspace closes again

The FAA shuttered airspace near El Paso, Texas, again — albeit to a lesser extent — after the military downed a “seemingly threatening” drone, only to discover it belonged to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The incident sparked a firestorm among U.S. lawmakers. [AP]

Netflix bows out

Netflix declined to exceed its bid for Warner Bros. Discovery, leaving Paramount Skydance in a position to seize the storied media giant for more than $110 billion, though regulators must still approve the deal. Netflix’s stock soared in response. [NBC News]

Explosive ‘Traitors’ finale

On The Traitors season finale, a masterclass in psychological warfare ended with just one finalist walking away with the entire prize pot. Meanwhile, banished traitor and Real Housewife Lisa Rinna alleged she was drugged at the premiere party. [USA Today]
