While browsing a remote system, he opened a proprietary image file. It loaded slowly, block by block. First came a dark void. Then a curved blue-white hemisphere — a planet. And then… a massive, silvery, cigar-shaped object. A “Tic Tac” long before the term went mainstream. As the image rendered in real time, the mouse suddenly began moving on its own. Someone else was on the machine. They went straight to the taskbar, clicked the network icon — and disconnected him. Boom. Gone.
