There have been stories and some data about the presence of water there for a long time.
I hope we will see a manned space mission to Mars (just not like in the movie The Martian) joke))))
I think the rapid development of Starship SpaceX in recent times will help in this – to develop some kind of ultra-modern and, most importantly, efficient rocket shuttle for long journeys into space.
Although… there is still the main question of fuel supplies, food, and everything else necessary for life there – on Mars, and then back home. ))
