I headed out to a Bortle 2 location last night to escape the city lights and finally got a clear window to shoot the Milky Way. This was taken with a Canon EOS R6 and a 35mm lens. I used a 15-second exposure at ISO 3200 and f/1.8. It is a single RAW frame with some basic adjustments in Lightroom to fix the white balance and bring out the details in the galactic core. There is something so peaceful about standing in the dark with nothing but the stars above you.
