We don’t deserve another chance because we were never given a first chance. Give us this chance and tell us what the test is and I can assure you we will fail it on fair terms, but we’ll prove that no matter what we would try to survive. And hopefully that would be worth something.

We are on a path towards a balance between hive mind and maximum personal freedom/expression. Time is different depending upon lifespan. The immortals see us thrash towards an ultimate goal. Personal comfort clashes with communism, so it’s a process with high chance of failure. Currently it looks like failure, but we are waiting for natural backlash. The current evil has done well in managing the backlash to maximise personal comfort, but they are a generation of many.
