Kay A. Fisher Flora, 87, of Delphi, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at 9:26 a.m., at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. Kay was born on January 30, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Carl and Esther Cabiness Fisher. Kay married Gerald Wayne Flora on June 3, 1956, on the family farm, in Brookville, Ohio. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2025.

Kay attended Dixie High School at New Lebanon, Ohio. Kay was a homemaker and helped her husband in their construction business keeping the books. She also was an aid for the special needs bus for Delphi Community School Corpation for many years. Kay and Gerald were founding members of the Victory in Christ Fellowship Church in Flora. She and her family enjoyed vacations at various lakes where they would fish and go boating. She also liked to sew, was an avid reader, loved to cook, bake and share her wonderful treats with her family. She enjoyed Purdue sports, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and school functions. Kay’s greatest love was for her family. She dearly loved them all and enjoyed being together for any occasion. They were her life. Her deep-seated devotion to her Lord and Savior was first and foremost in her life. Her daughters are saddened by the passing of their mother but rejoice knowing where she is and they’ll see her again.

Surviving: daughter, Deb and Robb Huff of Delphi; daughter, Diane and Brian Deaton of Wonewoc, WI; daughter, Christy and Mark Schock of Camden; sister, Marva and Rick Phelps of Brookville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Carole Fisher of Tipp City, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, and one great-great-grandson. Preceded in death by a grandson, John, and brother, Wayne.

Services: Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Victory in Christ Fellowship Church, 115 N. Washington St., Flora, IN 46929, from 11 a.m. until her funeral service there at 2 p.m. Pastor David Graybill officiating. Burial at Camden Cemetery. Memorial contribution’s may be made to Victory in Christ Fellowship Church; envelopes will be available at the church.
