In partnership with the European Space Agency and National Center for Space Studies, Cercle Festival will host astronaut talks and activations in a new area.
Cercle Festival has long dabbled in space exploration themes, which isn’t difficult for an event that takes place at the National Air and Space Museum of France. In 2026, organizers are deepening that connection, partnering with the European Space Agency (ESA) and Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales (CNES) on what they call a “Space Dome.”
The event, set to run from May 22-24, will include a new attraction meant to spark interest in astronomy among curious attendees. But it’s not a simple rest area adorned with cosmic imagery. Rather, the Space Dome will host talks with astronauts and space exploration experts along with VR and technology activations.
Kicking off Cercle Festival will be an address recorded by ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot from the International Space Station. Adenot is the second French woman to board the manmade satellite, which orbits Earth 250 miles off the ground.
In December, Cercle Festival’s organizers shared the full lineup for their 2026 event. Among this year’s performers are Swedish progressive house icon Eric Prydz, UK minimal superstar Michael Bibi, US Anjunadeep mainstay Lane 8, and German melodic house fixture Ben Böhmer.
The National Air and Space Museum of France is located in Le Bourget, just north of Paris. Built in 1919, it features a dazzling array of aircraft and spacecraft, providing a futuristic backdrop for the festivities set to take place there this May.
Cercle Festival is the brainchild of the broadcasting platform Cercle. Prior to the 2019 debut of the gathering — which does not take place every single year — the company made a name for itself by capturing video of DJs like Carl Cox, FKJ, and Amelie Lens performing in UNESCO World Heritage Sites around the world.
