In a recent interview, Rep. Tim Burchett:

”We were briefed on some things by one of our alphabet agencies just a couple weeks ago, and I hope that those things are brought forward and those videos and the footage that they showed and the testimony, and this is by federal agents.”

”I want the Admiral to get out there and talk about the deep water activity. something the size of a football field that was caught on sonar going 200 miles an hour underwater.”

Mr. Gaetz:

”When people see what you have seen behind closed doors, do you think that's going to make them more relieved or more frightened?”

Rep. Burchett:

”I think they're going to ask more questions. I think that's going to be a mixed bag. You know, we're both Christians and I've heard people say that this flies in the face of it. And I don't see that at all. The Bible is pretty clear there. Ezekiel saw the wheel and God created the heavens and the earth. And so I think there's a lot more out there. We're just one grain of sand in a million beaches. A million million beaches. And I'm so happy that President Trump's done this.”

  1. Because Reddit, this will quickly spiral into how much they hate Burchett or Trump instead of what he’s saying. Give us the footage. Give us the documents. I don’t care who is behind it. We’ve never been this close to having interesting material released.

Sounds like an admission that a) It doesn’t fit into the Christian spiritual framework unless you just decide it does and that b) a reasonable person might see it as “flying in the face of” the Christian spiritual framework.

Both of those things correspond well with what looks like a desperate effort to steer the narrative toward a Christian interpretation of the facts. The leaders that see their religion as being tied to their authority seem a bit uncomfortable.

    That’s just my take.

  3. Oh boy.. this mentions Gaetz. That is all that will be played up in the random drive by comments

If Scott Kelly, Astronaut comes out and talks about this stuff, I will trust it. But the least powerful people in congress pushing an issue that actually gets them attention for 5 min means nothing. They have no credibility the larger nation can attach to. This isn’t hate or doomerism.

Scott Kelly is a badass. He’s believable. If Trump did do it, which he won’t, no one would ever trust the subject again. People, be careful what you wish for.

  5. Sounds like the gatekeepers are actually opening up a bit. In the past Burchett had always reported that these closed door briefings were full of denials and stonewalling.

What’s the need for him to speak in nuanced language? His boy said to release this shit. Can’t he just ask him at church this weekend if he can spill the beans?

  7. So even after Trump said to release everything they still won’t release everything? This disclosure is starting to look a lot like the other disclosure.

  8. Youre all being played for fools. Corbell shakes a little bag of dreamies and you run over to him, elizondo shakes the feed and then you run the other way, trump dangles a carrot and you go sprinting over to him.

Youre all back and forth getting baited by snake oil salesmen, people plugging books and politicians with their own agendas.

And every time you think ‘this is it’, you are let down.
