Penns Manor and Cambria Heights last night both advanced to the District 6 girls basketball championship games, the Comets in Class AA and the Highlanders in AAA.  Tonight, the River Valley boys take their shot at a trip to Mount Aloysisus.

The girls AAA championship Friday will feature Cambria Heights against Central Cambria, a 53-37 winner over Penns Valley last night.

The boys AAA championship matchup will be decided tonight.  The fourth-seeded River Valley Panthers visit top seed Bishop Guilfoyle.  You’ll hear the game on Cat Country 106.3 FM tonight.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7 o’clock.  The other semi will have Forest Hills hosting Westmont Hilltop.

 

INDIANA GIRLS

In the WPIAL 5A consolation round, 21-4 Indiana will host 20-5 Baldwin at Fifth Street Gym.  You’ll hear the game on WDAD beginning at 6:45.
