On Saturday, Feb. 21, the Comets secured a 3-0 road win over Spaulding. Dahlia earned the shutout with 9 saves, while the Comets put 41 shots on the Spaulding net.
According to the Comet Hockey Facebook page, Kali Cushing and Makayla Couture each had power-play goals. Gabi Fraties and Lilly Ferraro each had assists. Marah McGinn scored, assisted by Reina Spaulding and Aiyana Lamos had assists.
On Feb. 18, the Comets won 8-1 over the Rice Knights. Anna Hibbard had 15 saves for BFA. Chatham Brouillette netted a hat trick for the Comets. Marion Pearson-Stanley registered a shorthanded goal and 2 assists, Kali Cushing had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Marah McGinn had 1 goal. Bella Stuart had two assists, and Lilly Ferraro and Marley Johnson each scored. Rylee LaRocque and Emma Caster also added assists.
