In an interview with journalist Brian Tyler Cohen, Obama said that while he has never personally seen aliens, he believes they are real. He also said they are “not kept” at Area 51 and that there is “no underground facility” hiding extraterrestrial beings, dismissing long-standing conspiracy theories. Area 51, a classified Air Force facility in Nevada long associated with UFO speculation, was acknowledged by the CIA in 2013 as a testing site for spy planes.
