I have suffered from insomnia since I was a child, and when social media came along, my situation got even worse because I would spend hours and hours scrolling through mostly trivial content, trying to remedy my lack of sleep. Not only did I not feel rested when I woke up, but I also had sore eyes and a headache that lasted all day…

But there was something else. Those of you in this sub might understand: the silence of the night wasn't just empty for me. I’ve often felt presences in my room, shadows or "beings" that seemed to watch me from the corners, making it impossible to surrender to sleep. The anxiety was both mental and deeply somatic.

As a sound designer, I decided to stop being a victim of my own biology and these "visitors." I created a sound meditation, specifically designed to bridge the gap between our physical presence and the deepest states of consciousness. I want to share the session with you.

I didn't just want "relaxing music." I wanted a recalibration of the nervous system. This session uses:

  • 432 Hz carrier frequency: To realign the heartbeat with the natural rhythm of the Earth (mathematical harmony).
  • 3.0 Hz Delta-Wave binaural beats: Specifically targeted for brainwave entrainment to induce the deepest state of recovery.

When I use this, the "beings" or the heavy atmosphere in the room seems to dissolve into the frequencies. I tell my mind: “It is safe to let go. The world can wait until the sun rises.”
