Rumors have surfaced online about a possible UFO speech by President Donald Trump, and Lara Trump, his daughter-in-law, addressed this speculation on her show, “The Right View,” by mentioning that discussions suggest he might have a speech prepared about extraterrestrial life.
Despite the buzz, there is no confirmed evidence of such a speech being planned. Lara Trump noted online claims suggesting a potential announcement, although dates and specifics remain unclear.
The rumors gained momentum earlier this month, fueled by British writer and ufologist Mark Christopher Lee. He asserted that a significant disclosure could be imminent but provided no verifiable proof. Newsweek, tasked with investigating these claims, was unable to substantiate them.

Additionally, Newsweek recalled that Donald Trump expressed skepticism about UFOs in 2024, stating he was never a believer. This background throws further doubt on the current rumors, which lack solid backing.
Mark Christopher Lee told Newsweek via email that a reliable Washington insider has reportedly said that President Trump has prepared a historic speech about extraterrestrial visitation and recovered non-human materials. Lee did not, however, provide evidence or specifics about this insider’s credentials.
Social media posts reviewed by Newsweek revealed that Lee suggested the speech might outline incidents as far back as the 1947 Roswell event.
He claimed it could include steps toward declassification and international cooperation. Lee proposed July 8, the anniversary of the Roswell incident, as a potential date for the announcement, though he admitted it might happen sooner.
As of now, there has been no official announcement from the White House regarding a UFO-related speech. The administration has not responded to rumors, leaving any potential timetable unclear.
