Look, I’m a big believer in disclosure, but does anyone else get the feeling that this whole thing is a bit of a nothing burger? Like, Obama made a comment that was sort of taken out of context, and Trump is just being his usual dumb ass self and trying to find an excuse to apply some pressure on the former president?
But I thought Obama was just joking ?
Any legal action against Obama by the current administration is confirmation that what he said is true. I dare them, I fucking double dog dare them to do it.
I am glad Obama is getting ahead of this, no way aliens are worse than a wealthy class with a pension for child harm.

Aliens are real.

He probably did not know the context of what Obama said as Obama was only giving his opinion on the existence life in the universe. As a result it seems Trump has spilled the beans himself.

Ironically, no U.S. classification law justifies concealing the basic fact that we are not alone. In effect, Trump gave the game away.

I can’t be the only one that thinks both Obama’s and Trump’s ‘admissions’ were basically lighthearted jokes? I interpreted Trump’s response today as ‘he really shouldn’t be talking about that, everyone knows that’s super secret classified stuff only presidents can know about.’
In no way did I interpret what he said as Obama truly revealing classified information in any serious sense. I would actually take it more seriously if he tweeted something about it rather than giving an off-the-cuff answer to a reporter sticking a microphone in his face.

Assuming for a moment Trump really went along the line of aliens being real as spilled, classified info, it -could- theoretically be a disclosure if itself. If aliens weren’t real, such info wouldn’t be classified to begin with because there would be nothing to classify.
