The website’s online UFO reporting map shows that more than 10 sightings have been recorded in Cheshire, with many spotted in Northwich and Knutsford.
These date back as far as 1997, but some are as recent as 2026.
The reports are grouped together and include summaries of the sightings.
The latest report was made in February, and said: “It was a close encounter of the 3rd kind and has left scarring, and now I think my body is sick.”
Another from 2007 claimed to have seen a: “glowing orange ball of light, stationary for at least 3 minutes, that then proceeded on a vertical axis, then shot at amazing speed upwards.”
A report from 2006 reads: “A bright oval light just hovering in the next field from where we were night fishing.”
Various users detail seeing bright lights moving in the sky, with the earliest reported sighting in 1997 claiming to have seen “light in the night sky” with no movement or sound.
