3 helicopters, flying at night ~11 pm. Deep red sphere appears on the left of the helicopters (size much bigger than the 10 meters helicopter rotor), no sound. Flies along the helicopters for a few good seconds then quickly (impossible for earthly craft) flies & turns 90 degrees in front of the helicopters and then instantly disappears. Radar operator tells them to abort and come back to base. The radar operator told them that the sphere continued to move among the 3 helicopters after the pilots saw it disappear. Also, the same night, from the same airbase, formations of these spheres were visually and on radar seen moving in a line then doing a u turn and disappearing.
He also talks about some other ufo things: around 1986 they received from the russians a material (text) regarding the russian's experiences with the ufos. Also talks about seeing first hand some materials allegedly from a ufo. Some germans from an organization that studied ufos said they had the materials from the russians, they "borrowed" the materials :). There were thin pieces of metal sheet but very strong and would not warm up when they tried to warm them with a lighter.
