He was speaking colloquially, appealing to the near-statistical certainty of life. I need to make this longer, so I will add my opinion that it seems lots of people are taking his one-off comment and absolutely sprinting off with it like it's the bombshell of disclosure. If you want to believe what he says, then you should also believe what he says about what he said.

  1. This is what I kept trying to tell people in the multiple posts to this sub about this topic. Y’all need to do better. Any time I see large groups of believers doing the minimum in terms of critical thinking, the worse it comes across. This should have been obvious to anyone who actually watched the interview.

You know he is producing a video on the abduction story of Betty and Barney Hill right? He does and has taken the UAP topic very serious and so to act like his comments are somehow contrary is void a lot of context surrounding his disclosure efforts in the past. People who are quick to point out a “nothing burger” do so as an exercise to self-soothe themselves.

  3. These are all verbatim quotes from Obama in the past. He has more directly confirmed them before than in this interview.

“When it comes to aliens, there are some things I just can’t tell you on air.”
“What is true — and I’m actually being serious here — is that there’s footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are.”
“We can’t explain how they moved, their trajectory.”
“They did not have an easily explainable pattern.” “So I think that people still take seriously trying to investigate and figure out what that is.”

“I saw no evidence that extra terrestrials have made contact”

Exactly, I suspect he was hinting a little bit at the MIC and the party that considers the temporary nature of elected government officials like he originally did, but this time he needed some way to reiterate that position while clarifying his disinvolvement. Obama is a super smart dude and incredibly charismatic, he’s always chosen his words wisely, but everybody’s gotta make a mistake somehow.

And since it had begun collecting attention, given everything we’ve been told so far, he was probably instructed to dial it back a bit. Make a clarification. Whether or not he actually did see anything is irrelevant, he didn’t realize how half cocked people are on this thing because he’s not chronically online like many of us are lol. He was a figure who could have been in a position to know, and so answering that way was detrimental to keeping the lid on whatever this thing is (still not sold on if this is an aliens are fake psy-op or if this is real)

But this is definitely good information to add to the pile.

there’s no evidence we’ve been visited by extraterrestrials. That’s because the aliens are terrestrial.

  6. I wanted to believe he meant otherwise, but this was my first assumption at what he meant initially anyways. After all it’s what I believe and what most people who can even partially grasp the size of the universe believe.

However I wanted to believe the intensity in his eyes was telling something more. However he is just an intense guy. Obviously I could choose to believe he was pressured to let out this statement because he phrased it to on the nose.

Unfortunately there is no way to know the truth on such things, and being fully convinced one way or the other is silly.

  7. I don’t believe him or trust him… just saying. He knows exactly what’s going on. He was close to the Podesta Brothers

  8. So he didn’t see anything during his presidency but may or may not have seen something after?

  9. Anyone who believes this backpedal has not spent a second of their time investigating the topic themselves.

Imagine whole heartedly believing the entire 509th bomb squad collectively misidentified a fucking weather balloon as a flying saucer with multiple 3 foot tall bodies. Room temperature IQs man.
