  1. then why are u making a documentary about betty & barney hill?????

edit: oh god. is the documentary gonn be like “and so, at the end of all things, betty & barney were not abducted by aliens. they were accosted…… by racism”

like…… i believe capitalism pushes structural racism on vulnerable ppl, i believe we all have to continually fight against our own prejudices…… but im pretty sure betty & barney hill believed in aliens!!!!!!!

  2. Pretty bullshit backpedal, considering Obama is more than an eloquent speaker to have said this the first time if that’s how he meant it. Saying ‘they’re real’ is very different than ‘it’s highly likely they’re real’

  3. That overused argument about aliens not visiting us due space being so big is tiring and retarded.

  4. Horse shit. This is damage control and nothing more. Just do disclosure day already, overall, we’re ready for it.

  5. I am surprised he felt the need to clarify. I thought it was pretty obvious what he meant. And sure, they can absolutely be here, but I don’t think the President is high on the ‘need to know’ list for that sort of thing ironically.

  6. Politicians don’t use direct language, unless it’s something they’re sure of. They’re specifically trained not to. I think the answer would have been “aliens are most likely real”, “I believe aliens are real” or “aliens are probably real” for his statement to be true.
Regardless, people will process what’s said within their understanding of the universe, or what they’re willing to know about the universe. I would recommend not getting too caught up on how people interpret what’s said about the topic. What I’ve learned is that If people aren’t ready to hear it, they physically can’t
